The Nischai Academy For Judicial Services (NAJS) at Directorate of Education, Bahadurgarh, Patiala has started teaching and training programme for the first batch of students from July 2024. The NAJS is now giving to admit second batch of students in June 2025. It goes without saying, that SGPC is committed to welfare of the while humanity adhering to underlying principle of Gurmat ‘Sarbat Da Bhala’ (Welfare for all) by adhering to ethical and high moral values in the societal interactions. SGPC is making every effort to nurture a community of future leaders who can upload the principles of justice, fairness and integrity in their service to the society. The NAJS aims to provide comprehensive education and training to deserving Sikh students aspiring to join Judicial Services. The focus of the course is on different stages of the competitive examinations. The aim will be to empower law graduates from different background, with the knowledge, skill and confidence to excel in competitive examinations for judicial services conducted for the State of Punjab as well as for other States. I believe that the institutions following cherished objectives as a mission can play a pivotal role in honing up talent of the deserving students, to succeed in their professional career. With this visionary approach the Hon’ble President SGPC Advocate Harjinder Singh Ji Dhami has taken the initiative to establish Nischai Academy For Judicial Services (NAJS) at Patiala in 2024. A sister institution Nischai Civil Services Coaching Academy (NCSCA) is also successfully functioning at Chandigarh, under his patronage. Both these institutions are firmly supported by committed and able administrative back up from the Directorate of Education, managed by Secretary Education (SGPC), Er. Sukhminder Singh Ji. I hope and trust that many students from NAJS would not only succeed in the competitive examinations, but will also be role model and display high moral and ethical values as conscientious judicial officers.
